The small but beautiful Lourie Theatre was
built by David Gavin in the 1920's.
The Theatre, located in Downtown St. George, is wonderfully preserved. The original structure has been renovated over the years to preserve a reflection of that Era.
Recently, the Theatre created a troupe of artists called "The Half-Baked Players", and several quality productions have since been presented. This spark of creativity has begun to taken root served to increase the St. George Community's involvement in Preserving the Arts.
Local schools, workshops, and a diverse venue of musical and cultural events have resulted.
